Six x 3 hour in-home nurture sessions to be used over a period of time that suits both myself and mother. All sessions include freshly prepared food bundles using organic produce, herbal tea blends, and all services listed below. I bring everything with me to mother’s home, and I am there to serve the mother-baby unit.

This 6 session bundle is my signature offering, and I believe this is how we can really make a difference to the health and wellbeing of mothers. We have an opportunity to increase our vitality as women during the postpartum time - with the right nutrition, body work, rest, herbal support and emotional and practical support. We do not need to merely survive, we can allow ourselves to really thrive. During these 6 sessions, I offer all of the services listed below, in the comfort of mother’s home. I bring everything with me, and I am there to serve the mother-baby unit.

In-home postpartum care can include:

• nutritious meals to support postpartum health and replenishment, made with organic ingredients

• herbal blends used for teas, steams and bathing

• cacao - we work with this both as nutritional support, and when holding ceremony

• castor-oil heat pads (alleviating pain/discomfort following on from birth)

• scar tissue remediation

• light house work - laundry, dishes, tidying, gardening, food shopping

• sibling care/pet care

• guidance on vaginal steaming (I bring a purpose built chair)

• moxibustion (a Traditional Chinese Medicine practice of burning Moxa, or Chinese Mugwort, in a purpose build moxa box, promoting increased warmth, circulation and qi to the womb area)

• baby wearing support

• gentle oil massage

• postpartum yoga (usually after 6 weeks)

• yoga nidra (suitable for any time after giving birth)

• “closing of the bones” using a rebozo

• birth storytelling - allowing you to feel witnessed in your experience of birth, and all of the emotions surrounding the event

I provide in-home care, so there is a maximum of 30 minutes driving time from EH49 included in my prices. Additional expenses may be added on top of this depending on where you live.
